Enlisting in God's Army
"I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." (Luke 5:32)
Now that we know that there is a spiritual conflict that is going on; how do we determine what side are we on? Where are the lines drawn in the sand according to scripture? It is one thing to say we are on the Lord's side but what are the requirements for being on his side.
In this lesson we will discuss the enlisting process for joining the Lord's army. We will define terms such as repentance, conversion justification. Also we will look at what it exactly means to be saved.

The beginning of warfare starts with you declaring alignment and allegiance to a particular side, in this case to the Lord's side. From that alignment we will be able to accurately carry out the will of our commander-in-chief.
The most important question to ask yourself concerning whose side your on is have I repented and been converted? If not, today is as good a day as any.
If you have done that Welcome aboard SOLDIER!
- Repent of your sins; recognizing that by nature you are an offence to the God who made you and worthy of judgement.
- Ask God for forgiveness
- Accept by faith the atoning sacrifice Jesus made on your behalf by dying on the cross
- Submit your life to the lordship of Jesus Christ
